Can be used from your 5th turn and onward, when your have 1000 or less Life Points. Until the end of your opponent's next turn, neither you or your opponent can Summon an Effect Monster nor activate the effect of their monsters. This skill can be used once per duel.

Can be used if your LP drops below 1000. Until the end of your opponent's next turn, neither you or your opponent can normal summon or special summon effect monsters, or activate monsters effects. This skill can be used once per duel.

To prevent the abuse of this skill especially with dm decks either limit or ban start blast or modify this skill by you cannot summon the turn you activate this effect.not funny when he summons all monsters THEN activates the skill locking down for a turn then going for the otk.with navigation its an easy trap negation too.

Yea. This skill condition is too good for the skill user.
This won't stop on starblast, so adding more specific condition to the skill is wiser.

There is nothing to fix the skill is working as intended.

You use gandora effect first and the skill second.
In opponents turn neither can activate monster effects.
Than in the gandora players turn again you can.

Also gandora is never seen in legend and higher so its not even a strong deck.

Not sure if anyone asked this, but this skill doesn't stop Exodia. Maybe it wasn't meant for that, but the wording of the skill seems like it should: Until the end of your opponent's next turn, neither you or your opponent can normal summon or special summon effect monsters, or activate monsters effects. I suppose stopping Exodia's effect once might buy some time, or maybe it won't. MAybe it's that the player doesn't activate Exodia's skill, it's just automatic. But still.

Exodia's effect is a Condition-type effect, therefore it is not activated and cannot be negated.

There's no issue with gandora that needed to be "fixed". Or you can just use monstermorph

I don’t understand this skill, i just played a guy who summoned Gandora and them actived the skill and first Gandora wouldn’t leave the field but still could actived his special ability which he did like three times and destroyed all my face down cards. And the skill clearly says that after he activated the skill he can’t activate monsters effect. Can someone explain that ?

dont try to act like you are right i play this deck alot your enemy probably summon gandora abuse its effect then active the skill so gandora wont left the field

See, the skill only stops effects for one turn after you activate it, meaning effects can be used during your turn before you activate it and the skill wears off your next turn after it was activated. And since Gandora only sends itself to the graveyard on the first turn it was summoned, it doesn't send itself to the graveyard since that first turn was the turn which you negated it's effect.
