The key to using this deck is making use of the excellent synergy between Vennu, Bright Bird of Divinity and Possessed Dark Soul, to continuously take your opponent's monster, giving you excellent field control and OTK potential.

Always start the duel by adding ritual cards to your hand, summon Senju of the Thousand Hands to search for Vennu, Bright Bird of Divinity or summon Sonic Bird to search for Primal Cry. When your life points have been lowered by 2000 you can use Destiny Draw to search any card in your deck. The best way to ritual summon Vennu, Bright Bird of Divinity would be to use another Vennu, Bright Bird of Divinity as cost to minimize the cards you use. You can revive Vennu, Bright Bird of Divinity with the Primal Cry in your graveyard if ever he gets sent from field to grave.
Vennu, Bright Bird of Divinity and Possessed Dark Soul make an excellent combo to steal any face-up monster your opponent controls. Activate the effect of Vennu, Bright Bird of Divinity and show Possessed Dark Soul in your hand to reduce an enemy monster's level to 3, then summon Possessed Dark Soul and tribute him to take all level 3 or lower monsters your opponent controls, then you can use Vennu, Bright Bird of Divinity to return the Possessed Dark Soul you tributed back to your hand.
Never allow your opponent to destroy Vennu, Bright Bird of Divinity. Use Enemy Controller or Sphere Kuriboh to defend against single attacks by stronger monsters or attacks with Super Rush Headlong. Use Mirror Wall to cut the attack of stronger monsters and force your opponent to end the battle phase.
